pulse dye laser treatment is a laser which uses an organic dye mixed in a solvent as the lasing medium.The pulsed dye laser was designed to treat skin related benign vascular lesions.

The laser delivers an intense but gentle burst of yellow light to the skin. The light is specifically absorbed by the blood vessels in the dermis. These blood vessels are coagulated and then reabsorbed by the body during the natural healing process.

  • Recovery:During the first 24 hours after V Beam Prima treatment, it is better to apply cold compresses for approximately 30 minutes. This will help to keep swelling down. For first week of your treatment, do not use any abrasive scrubs, use a gentle cleanser and moisturize your skin. You shoud not use retinoids for at least 2 nights after the treatment. Finally, as usual after any laser treatment, its important to avoid the sun and use sunscreens with an SPF of 30+.
