"Not only was Barnett an unstoppable threat, with at least 10 sacks in the three seasons he spent in orange but he also put in excellent work against Tennessee's stiffest opposition. His ability to rush for the ball made him a first-round prospect, but there are still several questions he'll have to address as a professional. His game is heavily based on his athleticism, but an average showing at the Madden NFL 24 Combine suggests Barnett could be unable to compete with an improved group of offensive linemen within the pros. Madden NFL 24 Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah may have said that the most pertinent thing in regards to Barnett's future.

"(Barnett) does not possess the elite burst, that energy that you'd like in an edge-rusher" he told his Move the Sticks podcast. "I used to be around Terrell Suggs in a small way with the Ravens, and he's another one who didn't do well. But man, He was pretty fast to be on the football field. I think you see some similar traits in Barnett. He's not at the Suggs level however, I believe there's a great chance to be a double-digit sack player in the future."

One bright spot is his performance in the face of SEC opposition. Barnett used to be known for starting slowly with Tennessee, though he typically kept his best performances to key conference matchups -- as well as the best offensive players that the Volunteers were likely to face. Even though an Alabama team is a vast from a Madden NFL 24 model, it's still encouraging.

What is it that Barnett must do to ensure his success with the Eagles?

He'll need to work on his speed-rush techniques while adding some new elements in order to keep up with Madden NFL 24 offensive linemen. It's the Madden 24 Nation's Stephen White points out that a stronger inside move -whether that's by punching tackles back and bridging the gap, or creating a spin to redirect his momentum toward the pocket after the first two steps -- will make him a nightmare for blockers who oppose him.

In the present clever tackles have the ability to cheat because his primary plan of attack is to take down the edge. By adding a strong inside rush could take the advantage -- and strengthen his speed rush by doing so.

There are a few elite pass rushers within the league, and the price of their output is very high. Chandler Jones signed a five-year, $83.5 million deal to stay in Arizona in the offseason. Jason Pierre-Paul has signed with the Giants for $62 million over four years. Barnett at the time of his debut by comparison, will likely command something in the vicinity of $10 million-12 million for the first 4 seasons in his career.

That's an excellent price if his fast speed rush stands up with Madden NFL 24 tackles.

Barnett was possibly one of Tennessee's most successful linemen and that's without even mentioning Reggie White, a Hall of Inductee. Now the Eagles will hope that he'll become a tiny fraction of that with the Madden NFL 24.
