Recycling and Sustainability
We are committed to being a sustainable business and diverting as much of your waste as possible from landfill. We sort your waste on-site at our facilities and dispose of recyclable materials such as cement, gyprock, bricks, cardboard, steel and other metals, timber, tiles and hardwood accordingly.
Our process also includes keeping a record of all the waste that passes through our facility and how it is disposed of, so we can provide waste management reporting for commercial businesses as well as domestic renovation projects where required.
Our customers range in size from major construction giants to domestic households and everyone in between. You get the same great service and advice whether you are just ordering a one-off skip bin or we are servicing stacks of skip bins on your construction site every day.
At Bin Master we care about the environment. Construction and demolition waste collected in our skips is processed to achieve the maximum amount of diversion from landfill possible. Recycled material is diverted to recycling plant and centres for repurpose or reuse.

Asbestos Waste and Hazardous Materials
There are several materials including liquids, chemicals, tyres (can be disposed of at an additional cost), gas bottles and friable asbestos that cannot be placed in our skip bins.
We do provide a collection and disposal service for non-friable asbestos, such as old fibro or villa board. We can provide a specifically designed Hazibag which is transported to a licenced landfill centre through the EPA’s WasteLocate system. Speak to us if you have this type of material to dispose of.
Both friable and non-friable asbestos require a licensed professional to be removed. While Bin Master provide the Hazibags and transportation service, we are not licensed to do the removal – you will need to arrange this separately.
Residents of Shellharbour may be eligible for subsidised disposal of asbestos waste through Shellharbour Council.
